The airport is so close I could practically hear the planes taking off! And the continental breakfast was such a feast.of empty promises.
Didn't expect the Hungarian Parliament Building to be so far away. I mean, who wants to walk a whole 1.5 km for sightseeing?

I always come back to this place because the staff helped me with a room problem at night during my first stay. It suits me perfectly and has Wi-Fi, laundry, and other amenities. I will be returning for New Year.

My stay at this apartment-turned-hostel was fantastic! The value for money was exceptional, with clean and cozy rooms that had comfortable single beds and free lockers. The location was a bit further from the city center, but the nearby metro station made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Joslin who went out of her way to ensure I had a great stay. The organized events were a nice touch, but there was no pressure to join in if I didn't feel like it. a safe, clean, and friendly place to chill and meet fellow travelers.
The only thing that could have been better about the breakfast choices was the timing. It started at 9 AM, so if you needed to leave earlier, you missed out.

Brand new apartment, close to city center, super comfy and clean. Great staff, lockers provided. Individual bed lighting, clean bathrooms, enough electric plugs. Low budget but worth it. Friendly young staff, good facilities, clean and quiet. Spacious 10-bed room with lockers and fans. Modest but okay breakfast. Lift available. Nice atmosphere.

As foreign tourists, we loved the variety of teas available in the hostel. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations and even helping us make reservations for popular attractions like the baths. the hostel's location was ideal, with grocery stores, restaurants, and the city center within walking distance. We also appreciated the good-sized lockers with symbolic locks and the quiet atmosphere at night. it was a nice and clean place to stay with great vibes.
Felt privileged, no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at an amazing hostel in Budapest called Gb Apartments. My travel purpose was to explore the city and meet new people, and this hostel provided the perfect environment for that. The reception staff, including a friendly guy from Malta and girls from Peru and Argentina, made me feel right at home. The location was ideal, only a 10-minute walk from the city center. The room for four girls was comfortable and included free lockers, towels, and a small breakfast. The atmosphere at breakfast, where all the guests gathered around one big table, was incredibly charming. The hostel had a great vibe, with a well-equipped common room and kitchen, bright and clean rooms, and a convenient location near stores and public transport.
I would enthusiastically recommend this hostel to others.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our weekend. The location was perfect, with everything we wanted to see and do within walking distance. Plus, there were plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby to explore.
We did notice that the bathrooms could have been cleaner. Although they were not brand new, a bit more attention to cleanliness would have made a big difference.

The continental breakfast was so ghastly that it turned breakfast into an adventure! The Hungarian Parliament Building is a mere stroll away, perfect for when I needed to burn off those extra pastry calories.
Oh, how delightful it was to have other guests' random items occupying the fridge. Simply thrilling.

As a first-time guest at a volunteer-run hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Gb Apartments. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were incredibly nice. The hostel-like atmosphere was enjoyable, and the lockers provided were of a good size. The 10-bed room I stayed in was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and each guest had their own locker. The fans were a nice touch for warmer days, and the breakfast, though modest, was adequate. The staff were amazing, welcoming, and helpful, even waiving my early check-in fee. The location was great, and I appreciated that the mixed dorm had two single beds instead of just bunk beds.
I do recommend this hotel.
